Most Rev. John Garvey was born in 1527.2 He married, secondly, Rose Ussher, daughter of Thomas Ussher and Margery Geydon.1 He married, firstly, Margaret Plunket, daughter of Christopher Plunket and Catherine Bermingham.2 He died on 10 May 1589.1 He was also reported to have died on 2 March 1595.2
