John Garvey was born in 1527.² He married, secondly, Rose Ussher, daughter of Thomas Ussher and Margery Geydon.¹ He married, firstly, Margaret Plunket, daughter of Christopher Plunket and Catherine Bermingham.² He died on 10 May 1589.¹ He was also reported to have died on 2 March 1595.²
