     He was appointed Knight in 1808.¹ He was Treasurer [St. Helena].¹ He held the office of President of the Council [St. Helena].¹

     John Doveton was born in 1725 at St. Helena.¹ He married Mary Worral.¹ He died on 23 October 1758 at St. Helena.¹ He was buried in 1789 at St. Paul's Cathedral Cemetery, St. Helena.¹

     Eleanore Beale was born on 22 July 1754 at St. Helena.¹ She was the daughter of Onesiphorus Beale and Mary Twaites.¹ She married Sir William Webber Doveton, son of John Doveton and Mary Worral, in 1775 at St. Helena.¹ She died on 31 March 1807 at age 52 at St. Helena.¹ She was buried in April 1807 at St. Paul's Cathedral Cemetery, St. Helena.¹
     From 1775, her married name became Doveton.¹

     Onesiphorus Beale was born on 16 May 1722.¹ He was the son of Richard Beale and Martha Steward.¹ He married Mary Twaites.¹ He died in 1761.¹

     Richard Beale was born on 29 September 1696.¹ He married Martha Steward.¹ He died on 7 October 1769 at age 73.¹
     He lived at Jamestown, St. Helena.¹

     Rachel Danforth was born on 14 August 1703 at Billerica, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, U.S.A.^G.¹ She was the daughter of Samuel Danforth and Hannah Crosby.¹ She died on 15 September 1764 at age 61.²

     Gabriel Doveton was born circa 1775 at St. Helena.¹ He was the son of Sir William Webber Doveton and Eleanore Beale.¹ He married Mary Anne Kennedy in 1798 at St. Helena.¹ He died on 16 February 1816.¹

     Ella Alma Wendy Gahrén Williamson was born in 2005.¹ She is the daughter of Damian Williamson and Jannike Gahrén.¹
