Robert Ferguson Knox and Edith Mary Humphreys.³ He married Nell Barbara Jones, daughter of Thomes Hope Jones and Harriette Locke, on 4 June 1929.¹ He died on 13 September 1990 at age 92 at Ingles Court Hotel, Folkestone, Kent, England.²
     He was educated at Haileybury College, Haileybury, Hertfordshire, England^G.¹ He fought in the First World War between 1916 and 1918.¹ He fought in the North-West Frontier in 1919.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Engineers.¹ He fought in the Iraq Campaign in 1920.¹ He fought in the Waziristan Cmapaign in 1937.¹
