     Barbara Montgomery is the daughter of Hugh Montgomery.2 She married, firstly, Richard Staples, son of Rt. Hon. John Staples and Hon. Henrietta Molesworth.1 She married, secondly, Rt. Hon. Sir Alexander McDonnell, 1st and last Bt. in December 1826.1
     Her married name became Staples. From December 1826, her married name became McDonnell.1
