     Hugh Farrar Northcote was born on 21 January 1886.¹ He was the son of Rev. Hon. John Stafford Northcote and Hilda Cardew Farrar.² He died on 28 April 1916 at age 30, killed in action.¹

Arthur Francis Northcote was born on 2 November 1852.¹ He was the son of Stafford Henry Northcote, 1st Earl of Iddesleigh and Cecilia Frances Farrer.² He married, firstly, Alice Caroline Owen, daughter of Edward R. Owen, on 28 April 1877.¹ He married, secondly, Mary Arabella Toller, daughter of S. Bush Toller, on 6 April 1880.¹ He married, thirdly, Emily Catherine Kekewich, daughter of Colonel Samuel Blomefield Kekewich and Olivia Elizabeth Elton, on 14 June 1892.¹ He died on 30 August 1943 at age 90 at Devon, England.¹
     He graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He held the office of Hon. Canon of Bury St. Edmunds between 1922 and 1932.¹

     Edward R. Owen lived at Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹

     Alice Caroline Owen was the daughter of Edward R. Owen.² She married Rev. Hon. Arthur Francis Northcote, son of Stafford Henry Northcote, 1st Earl of Iddesleigh and Cecilia Frances Farrer, on 28 April 1877.¹ She died on 28 May 1878.¹
     From 28 April 1877, her married name became Northcote.
