     From 31 October 1959, her married name became Elford. She lived in 2003 at 418 Wellington Street, Clifton Hill, Victoria, Australia.1

     Nora Gerstenberg was the daughter of Isidor Gerstenberg and Fanny Alice Bauer.1 She married John Wynford Philipps, 1st Viscount Saint Davids, son of Reverend Sir James Erasmus Philipps, 12th Bt. and Hon. Mary Margaret Best, on 14 February 1888.1 She died on 30 March 1915.1
     Her married name became Philipps. After her marriage, Nora Gerstenberg was styled as Lady Saint Davids on 6 July 1908.

     He graduated from New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Pembrokeshire.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Captain between 1914 and 1916 in the 9th (Service) Battalion, City of London Regiment.1 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)1
