     Harold Beauchamp Stafford Northcote graduated from St. John's College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Army Service Corps.3 He fought in the First World War, in mesopotamia and Persia.3 He was an assistant master at Dulwich College, Dulwich, London, England.4
