     George Trafford was born on 3 February 1833 at Oughtrington, Cheshire, England^G.² He was the son of Richard Leigh Trafford and Eliza Frances Tarleton.¹ He married Caroline Creagh, daughter of Major James Creagh, on 19 October 1867.² He died on 15 February 1901 at age 68.²
