     Lady Catharine Beresford was the daughter of Marcus Beresford, 1st Earl of Tyrone and Catherine Power, Baroness la Poer.1 She married, firstly, Thomas Christmas on 8 December 1748. She married, secondly, Rt. Hon. Theophilus Jones on 29 March 1754. She died on 28 March 1763.
      From 8 December 1748, her married name became Christmas. From 29 March 1754, her married name became Jones.

     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.). He lived at Farmley, County Kilkenny, Ireland.

     General Rt. Hon. Lord George Thomas Beresford was born on 12 February 1781. He was the son of George de la Poer Beresford, 1st Marquess of Waterford and Elizabeth Monck.1 He married Harriet Schutz, daughter of John Bacon Schutz, on 22 November 1808. He died on 26 October 1839 at age 58.
     He was invested as a Knight Grand Cross, Hanoverian Order (G.C.H.).1 He was invested as a Privy Counsellor (P.C.).1

      Her married name became Beresford.
