     Sir Robert Crawfurd-Pollok, 3rd Bt. was born in 1762.1 He was the son of Sir Hew Crawfurd, 2nd Bt. and Robina Pollok.1 He married unknown Mushet, daughter of unknown Mushet, before 1810.1 He died on 7 August 1845 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.1 His will was probated in December 1845.1
     He was given the name of Robert Crawfurd at birth.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the British Army.1 He succeeded to the title of 3rd Baronet Crawfurd, of Kilbirnie, co. Ayr [N.S., 1628] on 1 July 1794.1 In 1820 his name was legally changed to Robert Crawfurd-Pollok after succeeding to his mother's estates.1 He lived at Pollok Castle, Renfrewshire, Scotland.1
