Very Rev. Algernon Giles Seymour was born on 1 September 1886.1 He was the son of Venerable Albert Eden Seymour and Hester Emily Fortescue.2 He married Ida Grace Hammick, daughter of Vice-Admiral Robert Frederick Hammick, on 21 July 1921.1 He died on 22 October 1933 at age 47.1
