     Rosamond Orde was born on 6 August 1812 at Weetwood Hall, Chatton, Northumberland, England.1 She was the daughter of Lt.-Gen. Leonard Shafto Orde and Harriet Bevan.1 She married, firstly, William Carleton, son of Lt.-Col. Thomas Ball Carleton and Hannah van Hoorn, on 10 April 1832 at Weetwood Hall, Chatton, Northumberland, England.1 She and William Carleton were divorced before 1838.1 She married, secondly, James Hastings on 29 July 1839 at St. Georges Hanover Square, London, England.1 She died in December 1899 at age 87 at Wandworth, London, England.1
     From 10 April 1832, her married name became Carleton.1 From 29 July 1839, her married name became Hastings.1

     He was in Holy Orders.1 He was educated at Oriel College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.1 In 1539 he was indicted for saying the Pope was Supreme Head of the Church.1
