     Parsons Crofton was born in 1805.1 He was the son of Sir Hugh Crofton, 2nd Bt. and Frances Smyth.2 He married Anne Palmer Westby, daughter of Edward Westby, on 2 August 1831.1 He died on 23 October 1884.1
