     Andrew Jackson was born on 15 March 1767 at Waxhaws, South Carolina, U.S.A.G. He was the son of Andrew Jackson and Elizabeth Hutchinson. He married Rachel Donelson Robards, daughter of unknown Donelson, in August 1791 at Natchez, Mississippi, U.S.A.G. He died on 8 June 1845 at age 78 at Nashville, Tennessee, U.S.A.G. He was buried at Hermitage Garden, Nashville, Tennessee, U.S.A.G.
     He held the office of President [U.S.A.]. Was elected over John Quincy Adams by a popular vote of 647,286 to 508,064
and an electoral vote of 178 to 83. Was reelected 1832 over Henry Clay by a
popular vote of 687,502 to 530,189 and an electoral vote of 219 to 49. During
his first term 1829-1832 John C. Calhoun served as vice-president, during his
second 1833-1837 his successor Martin Van Buren. Called 'Old Hickory'.

Rachel Donelson Robards

     Rachel Donelson Robards was born on 15 June 1767 at Pittsylvania County, Virginia, U.S.A.G. She was the daughter of unknown Donelson.1 She married Andrew Jackson, son of Andrew Jackson and Elizabeth Hutchinson, in August 1791 at Natchez, Mississippi, U.S.A.G. She died on 22 December 1828 at age 61 at Hermitage Garden, Nashville, Tennessee, U.S.A.G. She was buried at Hermitage Garden, Nashville, Tennessee, U.S.A.G.
     From August 1791, her married name became Jackson.
