He married Joanna Wood, daughter of Reverend Jabez Wood and Joanna Short, on 8 December 1768. He died on 14 June 1805 at age 62 at Rehoboth, Massachusetts, U.S.A.^G.

     Sarah Horton was born on 28 December 1777 at Rehoboth, Massachusetts, U.S.A.^G. She was the daughter of Comfort Horton and Joanna Wood. She married Jarvis Wheeler, son of Jeremiah Wheeler and Submit Horton, on 12 February 1797 at Rehoboth, Massachusetts, U.S.A.^G. She died on 13 May 1856 at age 78 at Rehoboth, Massachusetts, U.S.A.^G.
     Her married name became Wheeler.
