     Karl Anselm 4th Fürst von Thurn und Taxis was born on 2 June 1733 at Frankfurt-am-Main, Hessen, Germany.1 He was the son of Alexander Ferdinand Prinz von Thurn und Taxis and Sophie Christine Luise Markgräfin von Brandenburg-Bayreuth.1 He married, firstly, Auguste Elisabeth Herzogin von Württemberg, daughter of Karl Alexander Herzog von Württemberg and Maria Augusta Prinzessin von Thurn und Taxis, on 3 September 1753 at Stuttgart, Germany.1 He married, secondly, Elisabeth Hildebrand von Train in 1787.1 He died on 13 November 1805 at age 72 at Winzer, Regensburg, Germany.1
