     He was educated at Charterhouse School, Godalming, Surrey, England.1 He lived Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the Somerset Light Infantry.1 He lived in 2003 at 1a Shelton Fields, Shrewsbury, Shropshire, England.1

     He was given the name of George at birth.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the Royal Artillery.1 He was chairman of Northern Radio Associates in 1973.1
