     John William Fry-Goldie-Taubman was born on 29 November 1887.1 He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Sir William Fry and Ellen Margaret Goldie-Taubman.1 He married Bettine Reade Hardy, daughter of Percival Hardy, on 30 October 1919.1 He and Bettine Reade Hardy were divorced in 1939.1
     John William Fry-Goldie-Taubman was baptised with the name of John William Fry.1 He was educated at Wellington College, Wellington, Berkshire, England.1 He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in 1907 in the service of the West Yorkshire Regiment.1 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) in 1946.1 On 16 February 1946 his name was legally changed to John William Fry-Goldie-Taubman by Royal Licence.1 He lived in 1952 at The Nunnery Estate, Braddan, Isle of Man.1

     Sir Theodore Morison was born on 9 May 1863.1 He was the son of James Cotter Morison and Frances Adelaide Vertue.1 He married Margaret Cohen, daughter of Rt. Hon. Arthur Cohen, in 1895.1 He died on 14 February 1936 at age 72.1
     Sir Theodore Morison was educated at Westminster College, Westminster, London, England.1 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.).1 He was Member of the Viceroy's Administrative Council, India between 1903 and 1904.1 He held the office of Member of the Council of India between 1906 and 1916.1 He was invested as a Knight Commander, Order of the Indian Empire (K.C.I.E.) in 1910.1 He was member of the Royal Commission on the Public Services of India between 1913 and 1915.1 He was decorated with the award of Officer de la Legion d'Honneur.1 He was invested as a Knight Commander, Order of the Star of India (K.C.S.I.) in 1917.1 He was invested as a Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1919.1 He was the principal between 1919 and 1929 at Armstrong College, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Northumberland, England.1 He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Civil Law (D.C.L.).1 He was Director of the British Institute between 1933 and 1934 at 6 Rue de la Sorbonne, Paris, France.1
