     Alexander Home, 4th Earl of Home was the son of James Home, 3rd Earl of Home and Lady Jean Douglas.¹ He married Lady Anne Sackville, daughter of Richard Sackville, 5th Earl of Dorset, on 19 April 1671.¹ He died in 1674, without issue.¹
     He held the office of Burgess of Glasgow in 1666.¹ He succeeded to the title of 9th Lord Home [S., 1473] in December 1666.¹ He succeeded to the title of 4th Earl of Home [S., 1605] in December 1666.¹ He succeeded to the title of 4th Lord Dunglas [S., 1605] in December 1666.¹ He held the office of Gentleman of the Privy Chamber in 1671.¹

     Lady Anne Sackville is the daughter of Richard Sackville, 5th Earl of Dorset.¹ She married Alexander Home, 4th Earl of Home, son of James Home, 3rd Earl of Home and Lady Jean Douglas, on 19 April 1671.¹
     As a result of her marriage, Lady Anne Sackville was styled as Countess of Home on 19 April 1671. From 19 April 1671, her married name became Home.¹

     James Home, 5th Earl of Home was the son of James Home, 3rd Earl of Home and Lady Jean Douglas.¹ He married Lady Anne Ramsay, daughter of George Ramsay, 2nd Earl of Dalhousie and Lady Anne Fleming.¹ He died in 1687, without issue.¹
     He held the office of Sheriff of Berwickshire.¹ He succeeded to the title of 10th Lord Home [S., 1473] in 1674.¹ He succeeded to the title of 5th Earl of Home [S., 1605] in 1674.¹ He succeeded to the title of 5th Lord Dunglas [S., 1605] in 1674.¹

     Nina Emily Katherine Grey was born circa 1870 at India.² She was the daughter of Colonel Leopold John Herbert Grey and Josephine Catherine Van Cortlandt.² She married Captain Maidion Byron Bicknell on 15 August 1891.¹ She died on 22 December 1891.¹
      From 15 August 1891, her married name became Bicknell.

     Wilhelmina Catherine Grey was born circa 1871 at India.¹ She was the daughter of Colonel Leopold John Herbert Grey and Josephine Catherine Van Cortlandt.¹ She married Major Robert Cecil Harbottle, son of Thomas Harbottle and Letitia Maria Benfield, on 16 June 1894.² She died on 8 December 1894.²
      From 16 June 1894, her married name became Harbottle.

     Gertrude Sybil Grey was born circa 1875 at India.¹ She was the daughter of Colonel Leopold John Herbert Grey and Josephine Catherine Van Cortlandt.¹ She married Captain A. H. Barclay on 29 July 1895.² She died on 25 August 1902.²
      From 29 July 1895, her married name became Barclay.

     Lillian Muriel Grey was born circa 1879 at India.¹ She is the daughter of Colonel Leopold John Herbert Grey and Josephine Catherine Van Cortlandt.¹ She married Lt.-Col. John Stirling Rivett-Carnac on 29 September 1903.² She died on 22 September 1955, without issue.²
      From 29 September 1903, her married name became Rivett-Carnac. She was invested as a Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1919.²
