     Hon. Jean Astley was born on 17 April 1917.1 She is the daughter of Lt.-Col. Sir Albert Edward Delavel Astley, 21st Lord Hastings and Lady Marguerite Helen Nevill.1 She married Lt.-Cdr. Mark Napier, son of Admiral William Rawdon Napier and Florence Marie Nugent, on 28 June 1945.1
     She gained the rank of 3rd Officer in the Women's Royal Naval Service.1 From 28 June 1945, her married name became Napier.1 She lived in 2003 at 12 Grassmere Close, Felpham, Bognor Regis, Sussex, EnglandG.1

     Lt.-Cdr. Mark Napier was born on 10 May 1911.2 He is the son of Admiral William Rawdon Napier and Florence Marie Nugent.2 He married Hon. Jean Astley, daughter of Lt.-Col. Sir Albert Edward Delavel Astley, 21st Lord Hastings and Lady Marguerite Helen Nevill, on 28 June 1945.1 He died on 8 February 1962 at age 50.2
     He was educated at Beaumont College, Old Windsor, Berkshire, England.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Navy.1
