     Vice-Admiral Sir Joshua Ricketts Rowley, 3rd Bt. was the son of Sir William Rowley, 2nd Bt. and Susannah Edith Harland.2 He married Charlotte Moseley, daughter of John Moseley, on 10 August 1824.1 He died on 18 March 1857, without issue.1
     Vice-Admiral Sir Joshua Ricketts Rowley, 3rd Bt. succeeded to the title of 3rd Baronet Rowley, of Tendring, Suffolk [G.B, 1786] on 20 October 1832.1 He gained the rank of Vice-Admiral.1
