     Richard Neave was born on 18 December 1773.1 He was the son of Sir Richard Neave, 1st Bt. and Frances Bristow.2 He married Sarah Irvine, daughter of Alexander Irvine, on 2 July 1807.1 He died on 13 January 1858 at age 84.1
     He was a practising barrister.1 He was Deputer Paymaster of the Forces.1 He was Secretary and Registrar in 1816 at Royal Hospital, Chelsea, London, England.1
