     Lieutenant Thomas Richard Eyre Jackson was born on 3 February 1921.1 He was the son of Brig.-Gen. Sir Thomas Dare Jackson, 2nd Bt. and Mary Lillian Vera Massy Lloyd.2 He died in February 1944, killed in action.1

     From 25 September 1948, her married name became Bowman-Vaughan.
