     Reginald Merrick Hoare was born on 22 June 1918.1 He is the son of Reginald Arthur Hoare and Una Mildred Williams.2 He married, firstly, Barbara Jean Buckland, daughter of Francis John Buckland, on 31 August 1950.1 He married, secondly, Meriel Karen Gold, daughter of Michael Gold, in 1984.3
     Reginald Merrick Hoare lived in 2003 at Blue Cottage, Lower Froyle, Hampshire, England.1
