     Lt.-Col. Philip George Hewett was born on 22 May 1834.¹ He was the son of Reverend Philip Hewett and Anne Duff.² He married Emily Janet Barry, daughter of Reverend C. U. Barry, on 20 May 1857.¹ He died on 29 November 1900 at age 66.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 20th Regiment.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 1st West Yorkshire Militia.¹ He also had four daughters, who all died unmarried.¹

     Emily Janet Barry was the daughter of Reverend C. U. Barry.² She married Lt.-Col. Philip George Hewett, son of Reverend Philip Hewett and Anne Duff, on 20 May 1857.¹ She died in 1912.¹
     From 20 May 1857, her married name became Hewett.

     Captain Paul Hewett was born on 15 April 1858.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. Philip George Hewett and Emily Janet Barry.² He died on 13 March 1934 at age 75.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.¹ He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1919.¹

     Godfrey Hewett was born on 12 August 1859.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. Philip George Hewett and Emily Janet Barry.² He died on 14 January 1932 at age 72.¹
     He was Consul to Paramaribo.¹

     Leonard Hewett was born on 1 August 1866.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. Philip George Hewett and Emily Janet Barry.² He died on 3 July 1912 at age 45.¹

     Lt.-Col. James Alastair Liston Foulis was born on 31 July 1908.¹ He was the son of Major Archibald Primrose Liston Foulis and Agnàse Eudora Wingate.¹ He married Kathleen de la Hogue Moran, daughter of Lt.-Col. John Moran and Countess Olga de la Hogue, on 6 March 1934.¹ He died on 30 April 1942 at age 33, killed on active service.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Artillery.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹

     Kathleen de la Hogue Moran was the daughter of Lt.-Col. John Moran and Countess Olga de la Hogue.^1,3 She married Lt.-Col. James Alastair Liston Foulis, son of Major Archibald Primrose Liston Foulis and Agnàse Eudora Wingate, on 6 March 1934.¹ She died on 5 January 1991.³
     From 6 March 1934, her married name became Liston Foulis.¹ She lived in 1970 at Westhorpe, Holford Road, Guildford, Surrey, England^G.¹

     Henry Routledge married Elizabeth Carruthers.¹

     Louisa Majendie was the daughter of Rt. Rev. Henry William Majendie and Anne Routledge.² She married Colonel Sir George Henry Hewett, 2nd Bt., son of General Sir George Hewett, 1st Bt. and Julia Johnson, on 26 July 1816.¹ She died on 25 September 1880.¹
     From 26 July 1816, her married name became Hewett.
