     Lt.-Col. Philip George Hewett was born on 22 May 1834.1 He was the son of Reverend Philip Hewett and Anne Duff.2 He married Emily Janet Barry, daughter of Reverend C. U. Barry, on 20 May 1857.1 He died on 29 November 1900 at age 66.1
     Lt.-Col. Philip George Hewett gained the rank of Captain in the service of the 20th Regiment.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the 1st West Yorkshire Militia.1 He also had four daughters, who all died unmarried.1

     From 20 May 1857, her married name became Hewett.

     Captain Paul Hewett was born on 15 April 1858.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Philip George Hewett and Emily Janet Barry.2 He died on 13 March 1934 at age 75.1
     Captain Paul Hewett gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Royal Navy.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He was invested as a Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1919.1

     Lt.-Col. James Alastair Liston Foulis gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the Royal Artillery.1 He fought in the Second World War.1
