Henry Chicheley Haldane was born on 10 May 1872.1 He was the son of James Haldane and Emily Grove.2 He married Norah Bowden, daughter of William Bowden, on 2 July 1908.1 He died on 18 May 1957 at age 85.1
He was educated at Charterhouse School, Godalming, Surrey, EnglandG.1 He graduated from Brasenose College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1893 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He was a practising solicitor.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches five times.1 He gained the rank of officer in the 2nd West Kent Yeomanry and 1st Lothians and Border Horse.1 He was Aide-de-Camp to General Officer Commanding 3rd Division and General Officer Commanding 5th Corps.1 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)1

Ursula Elizabeth Haldane was born circa 1909.2 She was the daughter of Henry Chicheley Haldane and Norah Bowden.3 She married, firstly, Robert Bradford, son of Arthur Bradford, on 16 December 1929.1 She married, secondly, Philip Barker, son of Rev. Canon Roland Barker, on 21 April 1965.1 She died on 29 May 2010.2
From 16 December 1929, her married name became Bradford. From 21 April 1965, her married name became Barker.1 She lived in 2003 at Foss Cottage, Lasham, Alton, Hampshire, EnglandG.1
