     Newman Gilbey was born on 2 March 1862.1 He was the son of Alfred Gilbey and Agnes Crosbie.2 He married Maria Victorina de Ysasi, daughter of Enrique de Ysasi, on 14 January 1886.1 He died on 12 June 1942 at age 80.1
     He was educated at Forest School, London, EnglandG.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Essex.1

     From 14 January 1886, her married name became Gilbey.

     Henry Newman Gilbey was born on 15 November 1886.1 He was the son of Newman Gilbey and Maria Victorina de Ysasi.2 He married, firstly, Myn Beatrice Brunwin, daughter of Herbert Brunwin, on 12 February 1923.1 He married, secondly, Angela Everard Bushell, daughter of Patrick Bushell, on 17 August 1944.2 He died on 17 October 1956 at age 69.1
     He was educated at Beaumont College, Old Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.2 He was educated at Stonyhurst College, Blackburn, Lancashire, England.1

     Myn Beatrice Brunwin was the daughter of Herbert Brunwin.2 She married, firstly, Ernest Burleigh before 1923.2 She married, secondly, Henry Newman Gilbey, son of Newman Gilbey and Maria Victorina de Ysasi, on 12 February 1923.1 She died on 19 February 1936.1
     From before 1923, her married name became Burleigh.2 From 12 February 1923, her married name became Gilbey.
