     Sir Steuart Robert Pringle was born on 21 July 1928.¹ He was the son of Norman Hamilton Pringle and Winifred Olive Curran.² He married Jacqueline Marie Gladwell, daughter of Wilfrid Hubert Gladwell, on 5 September 1953.¹ He died on 18 April 2013 at age 84.³
     He was educated at Sherborne School, Sherborne, Dorset, England^G.¹ He was commissioned in 1946 with the rank of 2nd Lieutenant, in the service of the Royal Marines.¹ He was Adjutant of the Commando School between 1952 and 1954.² He was Chief Instructor of the Signal Training Wingi between 1959 and 1961.² He was Brigade Signal Officer of the 3 Commando Brigade between 1961 and 1963.² He was styled as Baronet Pringle however this succession was reversed by the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council decision on 20 June 2016 on 8 February 1961.² He was Commanding Officer of the 45 Commando Group between 1971 and 1974.² He was Commanding Officer of the HQ Commando Forces between 1974 and 1976.² He gained the rank of Major-General in 1978 in the Commando Forces.² He was Chief of Staff to Commandant-General between 1979 and 1981.² He was Commandant-General between 1981 and 1984.² He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.) in 1982.¹ He wrote the book Peace and the Bomb, published 1982, contributor.¹ He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Science (D.Sc.) by City University, London, England^G, in 1982.¹ He wrote the book The Future of British Sea Power, published 1984.² He was Colonel Commandant between 1989 and 1990.² He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Law (LL.D.) by Exeter University, Exeter, Devon, England^G, in 1994.¹ He lived in 2003 at 76 South Croxted Road, Dulwich, London, England^G.¹

     Wilfrid Hubert Gladwell lived at La Rocque, Jersey, Channel Islands^G.¹

     Jacqueline Marie Gladwell was the daughter of Wilfrid Hubert Gladwell.² She married Sir Steuart Robert Pringle, son of Norman Hamilton Pringle and Winifred Olive Curran, on 5 September 1953.¹ She died in 2012.³
     From 5 September 1953, her married name became Pringle.¹

     Simon Robert Pringle was born on 6 January 1959.¹ He is the son of Sir Steuart Robert Pringle and Jacqueline Marie Gladwell.² He married Pamela Margaret Hunter, daughter of George Hunter, in 1992.¹
     He was educated at Worth Abbey School, England^G.² He graduated from Trinity College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He lived in 2003 at 5 Hyde Vale, London, England^G.¹ On 20 June 2016 A Judicial Committee of the Privy Council found that Norman Hamilton Pringle was incorrectly enrolled as the 9th baronet, when the title should have gone to his younger brother, Ronald Steuart pringle (on the grounds that DNA testing showed that Normal Hamilton Pringle was not the natural son of the 8th baronet).
Accordingly Simon has not succeeded his father Steuart as the 11th Baronet.³

     George Hunter lived at Belfast, County Antrim, Ireland^G.¹

     Pamela Margaret Hunter is the daughter of George Hunter.² She married Simon Robert Pringle, son of Sir Steuart Robert Pringle and Jacqueline Marie Gladwell, in 1992.¹
     From 1992, her married name became Pringle.¹

     Ruairí George Robert Pringle was born on 21 October 2002.¹ He is the son of Simon Robert Pringle and Pamela Margaret Hunter.²

     Siena Evangeline Pringle was born on 13 January 1994.¹ She is the daughter of Simon Robert Pringle and Pamela Margaret Hunter.²

     Julian Andrew James Pringle was born on 4 March 1961.¹ He is the son of Sir Steuart Robert Pringle and Jacqueline Marie Gladwell.²

     Shelagh Mary Frances Pringle was born on 11 October 1954.¹ She is the daughter of Sir Steuart Robert Pringle and Jacqueline Marie Gladwell.² She married, firstly, Jasper J. H. Dale, son of Commander J. H. Dale, on 6 September 1975.¹
     From 6 September 1975, her married name became Dale. From after 1983, her married name became Newton.² She lived in 2003 at 35 Stroud Green, Newbury, Berkshire, England^G.¹
