Lt.-Col. Neil Graham Stewart-Richardson was born on 23 October 1881.1 He was the son of Sir James Thomas Stewart-Richardson of Pitfour, 14th Bt. and Harriett Georgina Alice Cochrane.2 He married Alexandra Ralli, daughter of Peter Ralli and Mary Ralli, on 23 October 1924.1 He died on 23 February 1934 at age 52.1
Lt.-Col. Neil Graham Stewart-Richardson fought in the Boer War.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Seaforth Highlanders.1 He fought in the Palestine Campaign in 1918, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He was commander of the 1st/4th Royal Scots Fusiliers in 1918.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the Northern Irish Horse.1 He was decorated with the award of Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1918.1 He was Aide-de-Camp to the Govenor-General of Australia.1
