     Robert Langdon Yorke was born in 1887.1 He was the son of James Charles Yorke and Katharine Ellen Langdon.2 He married Enid Cicely Nugent Meares, daughter of Cecil Eddis Furlong Meares, in 1914.1 He died on 12 June 1955.3
     Robert Langdon Yorke graduated from Lincoln College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).1 He held the office of Judge Chief of the Court of Oudh in 1938.1 He was in the Indian Civil Service before 1947.1

     Major Patrick Langdon Yorke was born in 1916.1 He was the son of Robert Langdon Yorke and Enid Cicely Nugent Meares.2 He married Pamela Mary Rudgard, daughter of Lt.-Col. Harold Rudgard, on 21 October 1939.1 He died on 5 March 1945, from wounds received in action.3
     Major Patrick Langdon Yorke graduated from Clare College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Major in the service of the Royal Corps Signals (Territorial Army).1
