     John Grey was born on 8 July 1899.1 He was the son of Egerton Spencer Grey and Ethel Harriet Wigan.2 He married Nancy Augusta Nickalls, daughter of Vivian Nickalls, on 6 October 1926.1 He died in 1979.1
     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England.1 He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the service of the Rifle Brigade.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He graduated with a AADip.1 He was invested as a Fellow, Royal Institute of British Architects (F.R.I.B.A.).1 He was invested as a Fellow, Royal Society of Art (F.R.S.A.).1

     John Egerton Grey was born on 8 February 1929.1 He is the son of John Grey and Nancy Augusta Nickalls.2 He married Patricia Grey Hanna, daughter of Colonel Walter Francis Hanna and Kathleen Ethel Madeline Grey, on 7 January 1961.1
     He was educated at Blundell's School, Tiverton, Devon, England.1 He graduated from Brasenose College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Bachelor of Civil Law (B.C.L.).1 He graduated from Brasenose College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He was admitted to Inner Temple in 1954 entitled to practice as a barrister.1 He was Clerk Assistant, House of Lords between 1974 and 1988.1 He was invested as a Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1981.1 He lived in 2003 at 51 St. Peter's Road, West Mersea, Colchester, Essex, England.1
