     Dorothy Dering is the daughter of Lionel Ashton Dering.2 She married W/Cdr. Spencer Douglas Adair Grey, son of Douglas Charles Campbell Grey and Alice Mary Fawconer Galpin, on 21 July 1915.1 She and W/Cdr. Spencer Douglas Adair Grey were divorced in 1934.1
     From 21 July 1915, her married name became Grey.

     Dorothy Vernon Grey was born on 19 August 1887.1 She was the daughter of Douglas Charles Campbell Grey and Alice Mary Fawconer Galpin.2 She married Commander Sir Aylmer Newton George Firebrace, son of Lt.-Col. George Firebrace, on 26 October 1912.1 She died on 13 July 1952 at age 64.1
     From 26 October 1912, her married name became Firebrace.

     Commander Sir Aylmer Newton George Firebrace was the son of Lt.-Col. George Firebrace.2 He married Dorothy Vernon Grey, daughter of Douglas Charles Campbell Grey and Alice Mary Fawconer Galpin, on 26 October 1912.1 He died in June 1972.1
     He was Chief Officer, London Fire Brigade.1 He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.1 He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.)1
