     Marit Victoria Guinness was born on 28 January 1919.1 She was the daughter of Henry Samuel Howard Guinness and Alfhild Holter.2 She married Carl Nils Wilhelm Gunnar Aschan, son of Nils Aschan and Baroness Elsa Djurklov, on 21 July 1937.3 She and Carl Nils Wilhelm Gunnar Aschan were divorced in 1963.1 She died on 27 September 2004 at age 85.4
     From 21 July 1937, her married name became Marit Guinness Aschan. She was with the Ministry of Information during the Second World War.1 She was educated an enamellist.1 She wrote the book Modern Jewellers, The Art of Jewellery, published 1968.1 She wrote the book Enamels, published 1985, editor.1 She lived in 2003 at 25 Chelsea Park Gardens, London, EnglandG.1

     Sir Michael George Nairn of Rankeilour, 3rd Bt. was born on 30 January 1911.1 He was the son of Sir Michael Nairn of Rankeilour, 2nd Bt. and Mildred Margaret Neish.1,2 He married Helen Louise Bruce, daughter of Major Ernest James Webster Bruce, on 5 November 1936.1 He died on 2 September 1984 at age 73.1,3
     Sir Michael George Nairn of Rankeilour, 3rd Bt. usually went by his middle name of George.1 He was educated at Trinity College, Glenalmond, Perthshire, Scotland.1 He fought in the Second World War, where he was wounded.1 He gained the rank of Major in the Black Watch.2 He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Nairn, of Rankeilour, Collessie, and Dysart House, Dysart, co. Fife [U.K., 1904] on 24 September 1952.2 He was Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) in 1955.1 He was chairman of Nairn & Williamson Holdings in 1957.1
