     Violet Catherine Adele Hope is the daughter of Adrian Elias Hope.2 She married, firstly, Herbert Frederick Guinness, son of Richard Seymour Guinness and Elizabeth Jane Susanna Darley, in 1904.1 She married, secondly, Captain Herbert Reginald Norbury, son of Inspr.-Gen. Sir Frederick Norbury, in 1924.1
     From 1904, her married name became Guinness. From 1924, her married name became Norbury.1
