     Colonel Henry Clement Swinnerton Dyer was born on 30 December 1834.1 He was the son of Sir Thomas Swinnerton Dyer, 9th Bt. and Mary Anne Clement.2 He married Amelia Susan Ward, daughter of John Ward and Henrietta Lister-Kaye, on 6 April 1869.1 He died on 21 March 1898 at age 63.1
     Colonel Henry Clement Swinnerton Dyer fought in the Crimean War.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the service of the Royal Artillery.1 He was decorated with the award of Knight Commander, Order of the Rose of Brazil.1 He was decorated with the award of Order of Merit of Spain.1 He was decorated with the award of Knight Commander, Order of the Crown of Italy.1 He was decorated with the award of Knight Commander, Order of Charles VII of Spain.1 He lived at Westhope, Craven Arms, Shropshire, England.1

     Sir Leonard Whitworth Swinnerton Dyer, 14th Bt. was born on 30 October 1875.1 He is the son of Colonel Henry Clement Swinnerton Dyer and Amelia Susan Ward.2 He married Lucy Schroeder, daughter of Hon. Francis Schroeder, on 12 June 1897.1 He died on 19 August 1947 at age 71.1
     Sir Leonard Whitworth Swinnerton Dyer, 14th Bt. fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Sub-Lieutenant in 1914 in the service of the Royal Navy Volunteer Reserve.1 He succeeded to the title of 14th Baronet Dyer, of Tottenham, co. Middlesex [E., 1678] on 2 August 1940.1
