     He was the Vicar at St. Stephen's Church, Brighton, Sussex, England.¹

     Cicely Jane Noel was born circa 1885.¹ She was the daughter of Eugene Frederick Noel and Ethel Maria Chapman.² She married Reverend Seymour Godwin Chance, son of Thomas Godwin Chance, on 7 July 1925.¹ She died on 8 July 1975.¹
      From 7 July 1925, her married name became Chance.
