     Brig.-Gen. Sir Robert Pigot, 6th Bt. was born on 3 May 1882.1 He was the son of Sir George Pigot, 5th Bt. and Alice Louisa Raynsford Mackenzie.2 He married Norah Beatrice Oakeley Hargreaves, daughter of Captain Charles Reginald Hargreaves, on 21 August 1913.1 He died on 27 December 1977 at age 95.1
     Brig.-Gen. Sir Robert Pigot, 6th Bt. was educated at Eton College, Eton, Berkshire, England.1 He gained the rank of Flying Officer in 1913 in the service of the Royal Flying Corps.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the service of the Rifle Brigade.1 He gained the rank of Brigadier-General in 1918.1 He was decorated with the award of Military Cross (M.C.).1 He was decorated with the award of Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.).1 He succeeded to the title of 6th Baronet Pigot, of Patshull, Staffordshire [G.B., 1764] on 25 May 1934.1 He gained the rank of Wing Commander in the service of the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve.1 He fought in the Second World War.1

     Norah Beatrice Oakeley Hargreaves was the daughter of Captain Charles Reginald Hargreaves.2 She married Brig.-Gen. Sir Robert Pigot, 6th Bt., son of Sir George Pigot, 5th Bt. and Alice Louisa Raynsford Mackenzie, on 21 August 1913.1 She died on 26 November 1969.1
     From 21 August 1913, her married name became Pigot.

     Margot Pigot was born on 21 September 1914.4 She is the daughter of Brig.-Gen. Sir Robert Pigot, 6th Bt. and Norah Beatrice Oakeley Hargreaves.3 She married, firstly, Major Donald Ian Molteno, son of Donald Jarvis Molteno, on 15 May 1940.4 She married, secondly, Edward John McDonald Dent, son of Edward John Dent, on 15 February 1949.4
     From 15 May 1940, her married name became Molteno. From 15 February 1949, her married name became Dent.4 She lived in 2003 at Manor Farm, Broughton, Hampshire, England.4

     Major Donald Ian Molteno was the son of Donald Jarvis Molteno.2 He married Margot Pigot, daughter of Brig.-Gen. Sir Robert Pigot, 6th Bt. and Norah Beatrice Oakeley Hargreaves, on 15 May 1940.1 He died in February 1945, killed in action.1
     Major Donald Ian Molteno gained the rank of Major in the service of the Black Watch.1
