     In 1226 he inherited his mother's property of Loudoun.1 In 1228 he was granted by Alan, Lord of Galloway, Constable of Scotland, the lands of Crosbie and Monnoch.1

     Sir Reginald Craufurd of Loudon was the son of Hugh Craufurd of Loudon and Alicia (?)2 He married Cecilia (?)1 He died circa 1297, murdered by the English garrison at the Black Parliament of Ayr.1
     He held the office of Sheriff of Ayr.1
