     Lieutenant Donald Spencer Nuttall was born in 1922 at Clitheroe, Lancashire, England.2 He was the son of Major Ellis Nuttall.3 He married Agnes Virginia Irvine-Fortescue, daughter of Colonel Archer Irvine-Fortescue and Ruth Olive Boddington, on 29 December 1944.1 He died on 14 March 1945, killed in action.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Artillery.1 He fought in the Second World War.1

     Reverend John Faithful Irvine-Fortescue was born on 6 June 1883.1 He was the son of William Archer Irvine-Fortescue and Edith Virginia Duguid.2 He married Anne Souter, daughter of Joseph Brockhurst Souter, on 17 April 1917.1 He died on 6 September 1957 at age 74.1
     He was educated at Aberdeen University, Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, ScotlandG.1 He was the Minister at Caldwell, Ayrshire, ScotlandG.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in 1915 in the Royal Army Service Corps.1

     Anne Souter was the daughter of Joseph Brockhurst Souter.2 She married Reverend John Faithful Irvine-Fortescue, son of William Archer Irvine-Fortescue and Edith Virginia Duguid, on 17 April 1917.1 She died in 1976.1
     From 17 April 1917, her married name became Irvine-Fortescue.

     Hugh William Irvine-Fortescue was born on 14 September 1930.1 He was the son of Reverend John Faithful Irvine-Fortescue and Anne Souter.2 He married Patricia Anne Elizabeth Dudgeon, daughter of Francis John Dudgeon, on 18 March 1967.1 He died on 9 October 2002 at age 72.1
     Hugh William Irvine-Fortescue usually went by his middle name of William.1 He was educated at Glasgow Academy, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, ScotlandG.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant and Paymaster between 1954 and 1956 in the Royal Army Pay Corps, British Army of the Rhine.1 He graduated from University of Glasgow, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, ScotlandG, in 1961 with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)1 He was registered as a Chartered Engineer (C.Eng.)1 He was registered as a Member, Institute of Electrical Engineering (M.I.E.E.) in 1968.1

     From 18 March 1967, her married name became Irvine-Fortescue. She lived in 2003 at Eildon, 1 Broomlands, Kelso, Roxburghshire, ScotlandG.1
