Sir George Darcy, 2nd Lord Darcy1

     Sir George Darcy, 2nd Lord Darcy was the son of Sir Thomas Darcy, 1st Lord Darcy and Dowsabel Tempest.1 He married Dorothy Melton, daughter of Sir John Melton, circa 26 March 1511.1 He died on 28 September 1558.1
     He was invested as a Knight on 14 October 1513.1 He held the office of Sheriff of Yorkshire from 1535 to 1536.1 In 1548 he was restored in blood by Act of Parliament.1 He succeeded to the title of 2nd Lord Darcy [E., 1504] in 1548.1

      Her married name became Darcy.

     Sir John Darcy, 3rd Lord Darcy was born circa 1530.1 He was the son of Sir George Darcy, 2nd Lord Darcy and Dorothy Melton.1 He married Anne Babington, daughter of Thomas Babington, before 25 January 1561/62.1 He died on 18 October 1602.1 He was buried on 19 October 1602.
     He succeeded to the title of 3rd Lord Darcy [E., 1504] on 28 September 1558.1 He was invested as a Knight on 15 January 1558/59.1
