     Ivy May McKenzie was born in 1891 at Dunsandel, Canterbury, New Zealand.1 She was the daughter of Samuel McKenzie and Jessie McGeorge.1 She married Ernest Edward Bennison, son of Francis Bennison and Mary Ann Russell, on 10 March 1909 at Registrar's Office, Ashburton, New Zealand.1 She died on 27 March 1950 at New Zealand.2,3 She was buried at Timaru Cemetery, Timaru, New Zealand.3
     From 10 March 1909, her married name became (?) Bennison.1 She witnessed the marriage of Eric Jackson and Jean Russell Bennison on 4 January 1935 at Residence of Rev L.J.
