     James Craigie was born on 4 February 1864.2 He married Ethel May Meeking, daughter of Thomas Henry Meeking and Annie Livingston Howie, on 7 August 1903.3 He died on 29 April 1959 at age 95 at Gore, New ZealandG.4 He was buried on 30 April 1959 at Gore Cemetery, Gore, New ZealandG, block 95, plot 34.2
     He lived at Devon Street, Gore, New ZealandG, in 1959.5

Walter de Carnegie of Kinnaird1

     Walter de Carnegie of Kinnaird was the son of Duthac de Carnegie.1 He died in 1479.1
     He fought in the Battle of Brechin on 18 May 1452, with the Royalists against the Earl of Crawford.1 His house at Kinnaird was burnedby Crawford in retaliation.1

Duthac de Carnegie1

     Duthac de Carnegie died in 1411, killed in action.1
     In 1401 he acquired the lands of Kinnaird, Forfarshire.1 He fought in the Battle of Harlaw in 1411.1
