     Sarah Chatterton was the daughter of George Chatterton and Sarah Georgina Hill.1 She married William Adams, son of William Adams and Eliza Cooney, on 15 November 1870.1 She died in 1929.1
     From 15 November 1870, her married name became Adams.1

     Major George Chatterton Adams was born in 1877.1 He was the son of William Adams and Sarah Chatterton.1 He married Susan Holmes Gresson, daughter of George Reynell Gresson, in 1919.1 He died on 21 July 1954, without issue.1
     He was educated at Portora Royal School, Enniskillen, County Fermanagh, IrelandG.1 He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He fought in the Boer War.1 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)1 He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers.1 He fought in the First World War in 1914, where he mentioned in despatches.1
