     Major Lewis Edward Lloyd Bindon Blood was born on 20 September 1899.1 He was the son of Captain John Lloyd Frederick Blood and Edith Annie White.1 He married Kathleen Marguerite Duncan, daughter of Reverend Douglas Charteris Duncan, on 7 September 1935 in a childless marriage.1 He died on 19 December 1972 at age 73.1
     He fought in the First World War, with the 16th Irish Division.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Irish Fusiliers.1

     He fought in the First World War, during which he was mentioned in despatches as a Captain with the New Guinea Forces. (This is more likely supposed to be the Second World War based on his birth date.)1 He held the office of Assistant District Officer, New Guinea.1 He was a company director and coffee planter.1 As of 1976, Neptune Newcome Beresford Blood lived at 8 Poinsettia Avenue, Holywell, Queensland, AustraliaG.1
