     John Blood was born on 9 June 1849.1 He was the son of Fitzgerald Blood and Millicent Anne Morice.1 He married, firstly, Jane Studdert, daughter of Thomas Studdert and Diana Vandeleur Scott, on 7 March 1878.1 He married, secondly, Hon. Geraldine Mary O'Brien, daughter of Edward Donough O'Brien, 14th Baron of Inchiquin and Hon. Emily Holmes à Court, on 21 October 1908.2 He died on 25 August 1912 at age 63.2
     He lived at Ballykilty, Quin, County Clare, IrelandG.1
