     He was educated at Felsted School, Felsted, Essex, England.¹ He gained the rank of Temporary Lieutenant in the service of the Highland Light Infantry.¹

     Olive Mary Richardson-Bunbury was the daughter of William Richardson-Bunbury.² She married Henry Addison Devereux Capell, son of Reverend Horatio Bladen Capell and Ada Augusta Hawkins, on 1 August 1901.¹ She died in 1937.¹
      From 1 August 1901, her married name became Capell.
