     He gained the rank of Captain in the Coldstream Guards.1

     Commander Henry Falkiner Reilly Reilly-Minchin was born on 5 February 1889.2 He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Frederick Falkiner Minchin and Marjorie Emily Abbott.2 He married, firstly, Winifred Florence O'Bryen, daughter of Lt.-Col. James Lochlin O'Bryen, on 30 June 1918.2 He married, secondly, Alice Rebecca Winifred Minchin, daughter of Richard Minchin Minchin and Rebecca Sarah Minchin Storey, on 3 February 1933.1 He died on 20 January 1973 at age 83.1
     He was given the name of Henry Falkiner Reilly Minchin at birth.2 He was educated at Bedford School, Bedford, Bedfordshire, EnglandG.2 He was educated at H.M.S. Britannia, EnglandG.2 He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.2 He fought in the Second World War.2 He lived at Annagh, County Tipperary, IrelandG.1

     William Minchin was the son of Colonel Charles Minchin and Elizabeth Paulet.1,2 He married Maria Locke on 12 February 1695.1 He died before February 1721.1 His will was proven (by probate) on 12 February 1721.1
     He lived before 1703 at Busherstown, Roscrea, County Offaly, IrelandG.1 He purchased Greenhills in 1703.1 He lived between 1703 and 1721 at Greenhills, County Tipperary, IrelandG.1

     Colonel Charles Minchin was born circa 1628.2 He was the son of John Minchin and Mary Walcot.2 He married Elizabeth Paulet.2 He died between June 1681 and November 1681.1 His will was proven (by probate) on 18 November 1681.1
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the Parliamentary Army, as a '49' officer.1 In 1669 he bought the Annagh estate from Major Solomon Cambie.2 In 1680 he bought the Ballinakill estate from Sir Richard Stephens.2 He lived at Busherstown, Roscrea, County Offaly, IrelandG.1 He lived at Ballinakill, County Tipperary, IrelandG.3 His last will was dated 28 June 1681.2
