     John Fraunceis Eyre FitzGerald, 25th Knight of Glin was born on 26 May 1813.² He was the son of Lt.-Col. John Fraunceis FitzGerald, 24th Knight of Glin and Bridgetta Eyre.^1,2 He married Clara Anne Blennerhassett, daughter of Gerald Blennerhassett and Elizabeth Massy, on 10 August 1835.¹ He died on 25 November 1866 at age 53.¹
     He succeeded as the 25th Knight of Glin in 1854.² He lived at Glin Castle, County Limerick, Ireland^G.²

     John Blennerhassett was the son of Colonel Gerald Blennerhassett and Lettice Bateman.¹ He married, firstly, unknown Wren, daughter of Thomas Wren, in October 1807.¹ He married, secondly, Mary Anne Bennett, daughter of Samuel Bennett.¹
