     Ierne Helen Candy was born in 1910 at Stone, Buckinghamshire, England^G.³ She is the daughter of Major Cairnes Derrick Carrington Candy and Gladys Ethel Mary Bourne.¹ She married Patrick Berkeley Moynihan, 2nd Baron Moynihan, son of Berkeley George Andrew Moynihan, 1st Baron Moynihan and Isabella Wellesley Jessop, on 8 April 1931.¹ She and Patrick Berkeley Moynihan, 2nd Baron Moynihan were divorced in 1952.¹
     From 8 April 1931, her married name became Moynihan.¹ After her marriage, Ierne Helen Candy was styled as Baroness Moynihan on 7 September 1936.

     Hon. Diana Miranda Hovell-Thurlow-Cumming-Bruce was born on 6 July 1954.¹ She is the daughter of Francis Edward Hovell-Thurlow-Cumming-Bruce, 8th Baron Thurlow of Thurlow and Yvonne Diana Wilson.^1,3 She married, firstly, Michael Jeremy Gurney, son of Jeremy Christopher Gurney and Elizabeth Anne Hay, on 14 February 1981.³ She and Michael Jeremy Gurney were divorced in 1997.³ She married, secondly, Vanya Theodore Bostroem on 19 May 1997.²
