Henry William Gilborn Stamper was born on 26 May 1926.1 He was the son of Thomas Henry Gilborn Stamper and Edith Gladstone.2 He married Betty Eleanor Morell, daughter of Colonel Roy Morell, on 1 April 1950.1 He died in September 2003 at age 77 at Uttlesford, Essex, England.3
He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Navy.1 He fought in the Second World War.1
